Although Göltürkbükü is known for its fancy restaurants, popular hotels and vibrant atmosphere, it is possible to find serenity. You can:

  • Anchor around the islands (Büyük and Küçük) near the west coast.
  • See the ruins of Apostol Church on Küçük Tavşan Island which is located between Türkbükü and Gündoğan.
  • Prefer Hebil Bay to swim.

  • Kara Ada is a favorite spot among divers. Prefer its south coast or Delikli Cave (suitable for all levels) at the left end.
  • The island is also famous for its healing thermal springs and mud bath.

What to do:

The water is crystal clear. Dive or snorkel on the south side of the island. (When you dive facing the Gulf of Gökova, at 32-34 meters deep, there is a magnificent cave covered with purple sponges.)
